My love for anatomy and the workings of the body came at an early age. I was intrigued with how and why this amazing vessel I was walking around in did the things that it did.
I studied every book I could find about anatomy and physiology. I asked my Dad every question I could come up with and am grateful that he was able provide me the answers, or direct me on how to find them myself when needed.
I became drawn to alternative methods of healing through discovery of this system. I set out on a path of holistic studies which eventually led me to massage therapy, bodywork, energy healing, and naturopathy.
I graduated from Sarasota School of Massage Therapy in Sarasota, FL in 2007. During my study I was introduced to many massage modalities. I found a deep connection with energy healing and myofascial release techniques.
Shortly after, I relocated to Tennessee, became licensed and began practicing.
I have had the opportunity to work with a number of talented healers in the Nashville area in chiropractic, spa, and wellness center settings.
These experiences have provided me a deeper appreciation of the body and allowed me to expand my knowledge of medical, relaxation, and holistic massage.
My passion lies in my work, and my continued study. I am currently working on a degree in Naturopathy through Clayton College of Natural Health and studying Visceral Manipulation Techniques through the Barral Institute.
I began studying Reiki here in Nashville and have recently become Master attuned.

For nearly 10 years, Anthony Basinger has immersed himself in the art and science of superior hair care. Prior to opening his own salon in late 2009, Anthony was a top stylist at Festoon Salon in San Francisco and Berkeley, where he became known for his personal attention and belief in creating hairstyles that fit with clients’ lifestyles.

Constantly active in expanding his professional knoweldge, he has traveled around the world to participate in workshops and classes by Vidal Sassoon, L’Oréal, Bumble and Bumble, and the Alexandre de Paris Academie in France.
