Chrissy Morrissey is all about making you feel good in your own skin. The licensed aesthetician is convinced she holds the secrets to the Fountain of Youth — and once you leave her studio, you’ll be convinced, too.
Chrissy’s favorite part of the job is taking on clients who are unhappy with their skin, only to transform their appearance and help them to maintain a healthy, skin-clearing balance.
Aging is a fact of life, she says. But looking your age is not.
With an aesthetic diploma from McDowell Community College and a National Acne Specialist Certification through Face Reality in San Francisco, Chrissy specializes in acne and anti-aging treatments, versed in both nonsurgical facelift methods and clearing pesky bumps, breakouts and redness.
Chrissy knows there’s no such thing as one-size-fits-all skincare, and she’s dedicated to helping each client customize a treatment and subsequent routine to bring out the best of the skin they’re in, using a botanically focused cosmeceutical-grade product line called Sisterhood Skincare.
Chrissy’s day spa and skincare business, The Facial Place, offers two distinct approaches to achieving healthy, radiant skin: the spa approach, and the clinical approach.
Not sure which method is best for you? No worries. Chrissy is happy to help decide by listening to each individual’s wants and needs from their treatment. She’s even able to accommodate clients who need clinical skincare methods, but want a spa experience.
The Facial Place, located at Sola Salon Studios in downtown Asheville, offers many services, including the following:
Appointments and pampering sessions with Chrissy are by appointment only.
