KG Studios
Karissa Garrett
I obtained my cosmetology license from Gene Juarez Academy. From there I was hired at a Redken Elite Hair Salon. For the first nine months of my career I worked as an associate for Redken Artist and Educational Director, Megan Gepner. During that time I attended various educational classes, learned advanced coloring and cutting techniques, and became extremely grounded in the chemistry behind hair color. I worked there for a total of five years, and at the age of 23 became a senior level stylist. I specialize in corrective color, balayage, blonding and product education. After gaining knowledge and experience, I decided to open my own salon and am now the proud owner of KG Studios.
I am 25, newly engaged and a dog mom of two. I have just won the fight against cancer and I am so excited to be back at work! When I am not behind the chair you can find me outdoors. I love hiking, traveling, and exploring new places. I am a social butterfly so I value quality time with family and friends, but also enjoy being cuddled up with a glass of wine and binge watching a Netflix series. I am passionate about my craft and strive to give all my clients a luxurious experience. If you feel I am the stylist for you, I would love to see you in my chair!
Xoxo,
Karissa
