Halloween is coming up, which means your clients are already planning looks, parties, and weekend plans. A little spooky-season marketing can fill your calendar without a big budget or a lot of extra work.

Here are nine ideas you can start this week.

1. Give your suite a little Halloween magic

Keep it simple. Mini pumpkins, a few black-and-orange accents, and LED candles (safe, flameless, and reusable in December) go a long way. Add a cozy throw or a patterned textile, and skip the heavy cobwebs. A little goes a long way, and your retail shelf should still be the star.

2. Add a few seasonal products

If you sell retail, a seasonal touch can make browsing fun: a glittery black polish, a deep vampy red lip, or a skeleton hair clip. Ask your suppliers if any of your regular lines come in seasonal packaging or colors.

3. Reward clients with a treat

Bundle a few small items into a Halloween goody bag for anyone who buys retail this month. A bag with your name or logo on it turns a treat into free marketing every time it gets photographed or carried out of your suite.

4. Wear the look

You're a walking portfolio. You don't need a full costume. Try a Halloween-ready hairstyle, spooky nails, or a bold lip for the month, and film it. It makes great content and gives clients something to ask about.

5. Post spooky-season content

This is where Halloween marketing works hardest now. Share Reels and Stories of your best Halloween-ready work, from costume hair and nail art to glam and brow looks. Film a quick transformation, show a step-by-step, or share a trending sound with your own twist. Tag clients with permission, and invite your followers to book.

6. Run a costume contest

Ask clients to send in photos of their costumes and tag your business. Include kids and pets. The winner gets a service discount or a retail prize, and you get a stream of user-generated content to share. Since you set your own pricing, you decide the prize.

7. Offer a limited-time Halloween special

Clients are booking ahead for parties and weekend plans. Consider a short-term offer: fashion colors, updos, spooky nail art, lash sets, or a costume-ready makeup application. Add a deadline, like "book by October 28," so clients act now.

8. Host a mini event

Invite clients in for a quick Halloween watch-and-learn. Hair pros can demo easy last-minute hairstyles, nail techs can teach simple nail art, and estheticians and makeup artists can share costume makeup tips. Go live or record it, then repost the highlights.

9. Spread the word

Tell your clients what you're doing. Post it, text it, and email it. Put your booking link in your bio and Stories so they can reserve a spot with one tap. Keep the message short, with the date, the offer, and a clear way to book.

Make this Halloween yours. The best marketing feels like you. Pick two or three ideas that fit your specialty and your clients, and run with them. Not sure where to start? Choose one visual idea (your decor or your look), one content idea (a Reel or Story), and one offer.
