About Erin Edmunds
Visionary, artist, and founder of Brooklyn Cooper, Erin Edmunds is a Martha Stewart wannabe, lover of wine and cheese, and mother of a cupcake eating future brain surgeon. Her creative inclinations started at a young age, blossomed during her tenure as a makeup artist for MAC cosmetics, and expanded a bit more while she attended the San Francisco Institute of Esthetics and Cosmetology.
During the past 13 years (since 1999), Erin has designed and applied makeup looks for fashion shows, photo shoots, and weddings, cut, colored, and sculpted hair both in salon and on location, built towering headpieces for hair shows, props for music videos, and created many fabulous Halloween costumes. (Lady Gaga, anyone?) All while wearing heels, of course. This work has taken her many fine places, including a dark tent on the lawn behind city hall, where she has met new and interesting people, solved problems big and small (makeup in the dark? Easy!) and evolved into the skilled, intuitive, innovative stylist she is today.
Erin isn't really limited to the beauty industry, she plays a mean game of scrabble, bakes award winning desserts, and is a published children's book illustrator. She can be found car dancing with her teenage daughter Olivia, tossing tennis balls over and over again for her tireless pooch, Brooklyn, and here at Brooklyn Cooper, dedicated to her clients and craft, inviting you in, creating a look that is true to you and your lifestyle. Taking time and care to ensure you leave feeling fabulous, whether it is your lunch hour or your wedding day.
