My name is Karla Cortes. I have a natural talent for beauty and hair. Since I can remember, I’ve always been fascinated with the anatomy of hair, its structure and chemical composition. Understanding my canvas allows me to apply my artistic abilities and techniques in the most effective ways. I love connecting with my clients and creating transformations through color, shape, texture, and styles. As I journeyed into adulthood, I explored other fields in the corporate world. One of the most remarkable occupations I maintained for seven years was serving as an Education Specialist, Career Coach, and Curriculum Facilitator for the man and woman serving our nation, United States Armed Forces. I would always convey to them…’if you do what you love, then you don’t have to work a day in your life…’ at some point, I took my own advice and ventured into a new endeavor as a hairstylist. Through extensive training and dedication, I have mastered color techniques and up to date trending blonde styles. I currently work in the number five Country Club in the nation as a hairdresser. I own and operate Shears and Colors Hair Studio located in suit 29, Sola’s Salon, DelRay Beach, Florida.
