Running a business can be hectic and sometimes stressful…especially during the holidays! It’s easy to get bogged down with the day in and day out of being an entrepreneur, but the Thanksgiving season is the perfect time to slow down and reflect on your business and the people who make owning a Sola salon so meaningful. Those people are your clients, of course!

Clients are the number one most important component to your success, and the Season of Thanks is a great time to let them know just how much they mean to you. Here are a few ways you can show them your appreciation:

  1. Say the Magic Words
    It may seem obvious, but say thank you! Send personalized cards, express your gratitude during appointments, or simply pick up the phone and make a call. However you decide to say thanks, the gesture will surely be appreciated. Don’t forget to post a Thanksgiving social media post – hot tip: SHARE from the Sola Facebook page on Thanksgiving morning to make it that much easier!
  2. Give Back to Your Community
    Donate your time and skills in honor of your clients to an organization that is meaningful to you. You might even make a day of it and invite your clients to join you! Share your experience on social media or in a newsletter, and explain why you wanted to give back. 
  3. Shout It From the Rooftops
    Who doesn’t love seeing their name in print? Give a shout out to a few of your clients on social media (with their permission). Sharing your customer’s stories can be a great way to build community and loyalty, as well as expressing how meaningful client relationships are to you and your business.
  4. Throw a Party
    Nothing beats expressing your thanks face-to-face. Host an open house, and invite your clients and your fellow Sola business-owners.   5. Celebrate the Promotional Holidays
    Surrounding all of the gratitude of Thanksgiving, it’s hard to tune out on the big shopping days, like Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday! Extend a special deal for existing clients only. Let them know that this deal is not available to the public, but is special and just for them.
