A creative and skilled stylist, Alexis Lynch takes pride in making her clients look and feel their best after they leave her salon, Untangled Studio.

Alexis’ attention to detail brings guests back to her studio time and time again. And her professional background speaks for itself: She received her cosmetology license in 2008 from Douglas J. Aveda Institute in Ann Arbor, MI. The following year, she took her career to the next level and received advanced training courses to obtain her Cosmetology Educator License. She accepted a lead position with Douglas J, and taught students in different levels of their cosmetology program for more than 3 years. Her next step was to shift her focus from teaching to working in a salon and spa environment. This eventually led to her opening Untangled Studio in 2016.

Alexis is Aveda Certified in both men’s and women’s haircutting, color and chemical texture services as well as special occasion hair. Aside from running her own business, she also is part of the award-winning, on-location bridal hair company, Detroit Glam.

Her passion to learn and stay relevant in this industry goes without fail. She enjoys attending advanced education classes and focusing on new trends and techniques, while continuously investing in her career to better serve her guests.
