Alisa Akiko is the owner of The Sharper Look, a salon specializing in haircuts, brows and natural skin/hair care. She is licensed by The State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology and is  also certified in Microblading.

Alisa's career in Cosmetology began working for the Walt Disney Company as a Hair and Make-up Artist.  After her experience at Disney, Alisa worked with the following companies;  Shiseido, Dior, MAC, Benefit Brow Bar, Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Studio for which she was a manager and consultant. Alisa specialized in men's hairstyling at various salons before opening, The Sharper Look.

In addition to her work experience Alisa has traveled to different states as well as countries in Asia and Europe. She has utilized her travels to enhance her craft by studying and researching natural skin/hair care products as well as applying her hairstyling skills in Japan.  

At The Sharper Look, Alisa treats each client’s case in a unique and different manner. She continues to educate herself, keeping up with the most current trends, using her skills and expertise to provide what’s best for each client.
