Amy has been working behind the chair since 2003; her passion for the hair industry continues to grow with each passing year. After graduating from the Aveda Institute, she spent seven years at an Aveda salon in historic St. Paul. There she became part of their education team training new stylists. Amy was a Color Coach for Aveda, with training in New York City, teaching advanced color classes at the Aveda Advanced Education Center in Minneapolis. Craving a new challenge she left the comforts of a commission salon in 2010. She enjoys the freedom of being her own boss and creating a nurturing experience for her clients. Amy finds solace in creating a unique style all befitting her clients. She is full of experience and loves nothing more than to give you the skills and tools you need to successfully recreate your look at home! Amy has two daughters Zoë and Vivian and is married to John, her high school sweetheart. She is passionate about her yoga practice and enjoys running and racing when MN weather is above freezing. She has a love for all things Nespresso and loves to cook and sip good wine. Amy is easy to talk to and has a personality that will make you feel comfortable and keep you coming back.
