Taking care of my clients and educating them on how to style their hair is my biggest priority when I am behind the chair. If they can’t recreate the techniques that I've shown them, the style will not work. Showing someone how to manage and style their hair is a specialty of mine. A proper consultation will make for the best cut and make any style much easier to manage.

As much as I love to style, color is so life-altering it’s amazing how you can change someones look in two hours! Make-overs are incredible, just a small change in hair color can make a huge impact, lip color changes, eye color is deepened or brightened, skin tone changes, cheek color changes, its truly amazing to go through colors with my clients and point out these subtleties. These are the things that can bring everything together for the perfect color match for that guest.

In my years of hair dressing I started out wanting to learn everything. I got my hands on everything I could so I could advance fast. I watched fellow stylists that were in the industry for the first few years whenever I could, even if it was just for 10 minutes, it’s amazing what you can pick up. Eventually I started teaching my coworkers and found a great amount of passion in that.

I've spent many weeks in New York over the years learning  about cutting, coloring, proper consultations, education and business.

I did the Monday morning makeovers on Fox 11 for two years and managed other salons as well — I then decided to open up my own salon.

Being very focused on education I wanted to create an environment that hairdressers could learn and be inspired by their fellow stylists. For five years I owned my salon and decided to sell, and reintroduce simplicity back into my life and focus on what I'm most passionate about — hair!

I love my dogs Isaiah and Chloe, I also enjoy spending time with family, decorating, fitness, boating and gardening.
