I have been in the hair business 19+ years. I am a true people person. 90% of my clientele are from word of mouth and many have been with me 13 years or more. I especially enjoy working with seniors, especially in this modern day where not many stylists enjoy nor know how to do a roller set🤗. I also love the atmosphere that’s afforded to my clients of a one-to-one experience since I am the owner of a one chair salon suite. I can and have done more then one client at a time if they’re family members or friends and occasionally if I find I may be running into my next client’s appointment time, I’ll make sure to call that client in advance to notify them with enough time to decide to wait or reschedule. The one big pep-peeve I have is keeping my clients waiting or line up my clients like a production line. I value my client’s time because time is a very valuable commodity.
