Ashley White

Ashley White is a master stylist that has been working in the hair and beauty industry for over 15 years. She is a graduate of the Douglas J. Aveda Institute beauty school in East Lansing, Michigan. During her time at Douglas J. she was awarded a spot in the Professional Beauty Association’s Beacon program, which is renowned for encouraging and inspiring beauty industry students to effectively and aggressively prepare for successful careers in the industry. After graduation she went to work at a large, upscale salon in South Bend, Indiana, where she immediately began to expand and hone her industry and trade knowledge. In 2015, Ashley opened her own salon studio suite in the Granger, Indiana, Sola Salon Studios. Ashley has become one of northern Indiana’s top stylists and has done the work to prove it. She is a service-oriented stylist and specializes in all aspects of cutting, coloring, and styling. She is a master cutter specializing in corrective coloring and chemical hair straightening treatments by Aveda, Brazilian Blowout, and Peter Copola. She is a certified master colorist with the Aveda and Schwarzkopf brands and currently uses the Schwarzkopf coloring system in her studio. She has attended numerous hair shows throughout the region and participated in many continuing education classes. She feels that these classes are the key ingredient enabling her to better serve her clients. The classes allow her to keep her skills on-trend and in touch with the latest styles and techniques in the industry. Ashley is also a brand ambassador for SolaGenius, a cutting edge application designed to streamline and supercharge Sola salon businesses. She educates other Sola salon owners with her featured class, “Run Your Sola Like a Boss.” In 2020, Ashley was selected to be one of 20 Faces of Sola, a program featuring independent Sola salon owners and their stories from across the country. Ashley is well known for her free hand haircuts, texturizing technique and precision cutting. Her work has been featured in numerous editions of Michiana Wedding Day Magazine, and online with @NothingButPixies and @HoosierPixie.
