Carlisha is so wonderful and easy to work with! She listens to what you want/need and is also great at giving advice and input when you aren’t too sure what you want to do. She has been cutting and coloring my hair for a while and I am so thankful to have found her. She truly cares about her clients and the quality of work and time she puts into your service. My experience at Southern Girl Hair Studio was truly the best! At my appointment, my daughter and I both had our hair blessed by Carlisha. Carlisha is so patient, and genuinely kind with children. I know some stylist that won’t even work on a child’s hair. My toddler received her first hair trim, and professional style at Southern Girl and her experience was so pleasurable! Pleasing enough to where she ate fruit snacks while watching her split ends drop to the floor during the trim. No tears, no fear. My daughters hair is so soft and manageable now. I’m more than happy I took the opportunity to trust my little girls natural hair in the hands of Carlisha. After my daughter I was next in the chair and once again, very pleasing and easy going experience. My hair felt so soft and healthy for days! I received a blowout and light curls. Carlishia is very organized and professional. She make her clients feel right at home with the soothing decor and friendly conversations. I've never had to sit waiting for her to finish up another clients hair because she was running behind. My daughter had thin spots. Since we started with Southern Girl those spots are no longer visible and my daughter's hair is growing extremely well. We first met Carlisha at another salon and when she informed me she was moving away from the Fort Riley/JC area. I told her no need to find us another stylist because we will be following her wherever she goes. Ms.Carlisha even if you move to the moon we will be there every other Saturday.
