About Courtney Foster
Courtney Foster developed her love for beauty while working as a Beauty Buyer for Bliss Spa in New York City. She worked with many great brands such as Trish McEvoy, Bobbi Brown, Alterna, MoroccanOil, Nails Inc and Minx just to name a few. Honing her skills for 7 years in the Hair, Makeup and Nails categories as a Beauty Buyer, made enrolling in Empire Beauty School a no brainer. With a Marketing Degree already in hand, now accompanied by a cosmetology license, Courtney is a force to be reckoned with. She possess' exceptional skills in Hair styling, Nail artistry and Makeup application, Courtney has worked with some of the industry's best. As a member of the Blink Beauty salon, Courtney was an assistant for Daniel Rosa, a 15 year veteran in the hair industry. She has worked alongside the amazingly talented nail stylist, Lisa Logan, and assisted Lisa on several fashion shows, such as Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. Courtney also worked with Academy Award winning makeup artist, Jennifer Suarez, assisting with many independent movies, the most notable, Don't Go In the Woods, directed by Vincent D'onofrio. She has experience in film, media and print. Her work has been seen on The Wendy Williams Show, Good Morning America, The Today Show and The Late Show with David Letterman to name a few. She was also the personal hairstylist for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee and Academy Award Winner, Darlene Love, traveling with Mrs Love as she performed throughout the country. Courtney's professionalism, attention to detail and passion for her craft comes across in every client her hands touch. Courtney is said to enjoy being apart of the special times in someone life. "Whether it's a bride on her special day, a star before a show, or a young lady with a big date on a Friday, knowing that I made them feel extra pretty is the best part of the job".
