Modern Chic Studio, although my newest venture, is not my first! After 20 years in the industry, I am so excited to be able to provide a healthier environment for my clients, using clean products that are vegan and free of harsh chemicals. If you haven't worked with me before, I invite you to read on if you want to learn a bit about the road that led me where I am today... Since I was a little girl, I was always grabbing a pair of scissors for my Barbies, and it was obvious that I was born to be a stylist. By the time I was in middle school I was an expert at blowouts, and by high school I was cutting my friends hair with my moms kitchen scissors lol! By the age of 21, I was a licensed stylist working in the best full service salon in the area, where with the guidance of excellent mentors, I learned to understand the value in exceeding my clients expectations, and soon was traveling to New York and taking the best cut, color, and editorial classes, style photoshoots for amazing photographers, and even lucky enough to be trained by the top Redken educators. Later on, I found myself backstage for fashion shows and styling the news cast of WFSB CH3 News. All of these opportunities have allowed me to grow and learn, and today I am proud to have Modern Chic Studio as my perfect space to pamper my clients and give them a quality service that exceeds their expectations.
