When Gary was very young, he would wait for company to come to the house so that he could sit on the back of the sofa and comb the lady visitors hair. This was something that he picked up watching his Mom work at her salon after school. Almost 30 years later while searching for a career change, he discovered a passion that had been burried since childhood and enrolled at the CT Institute of Hair Design in East Hartford. Gary has owned and operated his own salon since 2000, specializing in multi-cultural hair, chemical relaxing (Mizani Cert), blowdry-flatironing, presses and rollersetting as well as barbering and other services. His motto is Personalized, Professional Haircare.
