Hi friends! My name is Jodie Walters. I am a Licensed School Counselor, Certified Yoga Teacher, and newly a Certified Microblading Artist.
I have an amazing husband and a 3 1/2 year old daughter (going on 13). WE love being outdoors and doing all things active together as a family; hiking, boating, running, and visiting beaches! We are also expecting our new puppy to arrive in August. We are getting a Mini Bernedoodle and my daughter plans to name her Roxy!
I’m passionate about getting to know people and learning about their interests and thrilled to start this new journey as a Microblading Artist. I pursued Microblading training so that I could combine my love of people with my creative/artistic side. I completed my training with a registered nurse and now feel confident in my ability to offer strict safety practices while also providing quality service to my clients.
Microblading is just another way to make the lives of women easier and to help them feel beautiful! As we get older, things on our bodies change, including eyebrow hair. Mine had gotten thinner and because of this, like many other women, I used an eyebrow pencil to fill them in every morning. The problem with the eyebrow pencil is that it doesn't work at the gym, or at the beach, or in a pool - it won't stay on in those settings. Microblading is a technique using a super-fine pen to deposit pigment into the skin. Think of each stroke like a minor paper-cut. Artists can help you to avoid discomfort by applying a numbing cream to the brow before each pass with the pen. The pen I will use allows me to create hairlike strokes that look very natural. Microblading can last up to 12 months, depending on the person's skin type.
