Melissa A. Knecht, APRN, FNP

Melissa is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She has over 30 years of experience in healthcare and medical aesthetics. Melissa started her career as a medical assistant, in her hometown of Oakes, ND. She quickly realized she wanted to learn more, therefor she transitioned to the role of an LPN after graduating from NDSCS/STTC. But it did not stop there, she went on continuing her journey to an RN thru the University of Mary. But her quest was not complete, her education would continue as she knew there was more to learn to help serve the lives of her patients. Melissa then advanced her education all the way to a Family Nurse Practitioner, with her Masters in Nursing.

Melissa’s focus is on helping and making a difference in the lives of her patients. In that time, she has worked in variety of different specialties from medical weight loss, urgent care, dermatology, women’s health, family practice, aesthetic services, hospice and mental health specialties.
