Michelle has over a decade of experience in the hair industry allowing her to be verse and well-rounded in the various styles and techniques. She’s a San Diego native whose passion for hair lead her to New York City and now Los Angeles where she currently owns and operates Studio SqHair (pronounced square). Having traveled and lived in major cities has allowed her the opportunity to work and train under some of the top leaders in the hair industry such as Sassoon, Redken, and José Eber. Michelle specializes in an array of techniques such as precision cuts, textured cuts, and barbering. She’s also trained in color allowing her to utilize current techniques such as balayage, foiliage, and color melts to achieve desired results. Her goal is to bring out your inner beauty while keeping manageability and maintenance to a minimum. She understands that hair is as unique as an individual’s DNA and tries to tailor each look specifically to enhance her client’s best assets. Michelle continues to draw inspiration from continual education, love of travel, and appreciation for design.
