I work by appointment only. Now if you drop by and I'm not with another client and have time, of course I will take care of you. If you have an emergency, I will do my best to accommodate you. If you care enough to come to me, I care enough to take care of you. You should be satisfied and happy when you leave a salon. You should be able to make it look the same as your hair dresser makes it look and/or the way you want it to look. A hair dresser should take the time to teach you how to accomplish the look. I will! Your hair is just as important to me, as it is to you. It isn't called a crown and glory for nothing, and you never get a second chance to make a first impression! I have been a licensed stylist since 1986. I have 20+ solid years experience in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, D.C.; two stints in the wealthy suburb of Bethesda, and another 3 here in GSO. I have attended the Graham Webb Beauty School advanced cutting I & II, advanced razor cutting, advanced color/hilite, their comprehensive review, and an updo class. To the best of my recollection, GW was the # 4 beauty school in the world at that time. I am a certified colorist having completed the Matrix hands on certification class. I am also Joico color certified as of July, 2017. I use Joico and Pravana color lines. I am constantly educating myself on all matters of hair, with hair shows, classes, magazines, and numerous online sources. I accept calls and texts between the hours of 9 am and 8 pm. Please understand that I do not have an answering service. If you receive my voice mail, please leave a message and I will respond to you as quickly as possible. Please, no calls after 8:30 PM, but a text is ok(before 10 pm.) Current clients have called me talented, told me I have a gift in dealing with women, told me I need to be in a shop more suitable to my talents, and one has even called me a genius... 20 times now... but who's counting!? And yes, she really did. I'm very honored to receive such high praise. My ladies have spoken and I'm listening. I have moved into my own studio salon so they'll have a more relaxing & serene environment and experience. After all that, I suppose I should have a big head by now, but I'm smart enough and real enough to realize I'm not going to please everyone, nor will I get along with everyone.
