About Rachel Gilbert
I began doing hair nearly 20 years ago. After going to Pivot Point cosmetology school in Chicago, I started assisting the owner of large salon. There we focused on precision cutting and modern coloring techniques that brought balance to our client’s facial structure and skin tone. After moving to Arizona in 2002, I started working for ETCH salon and co-owned an entertainment company that participated in many special occasion events, runway shows, and editorial fashion. For the last 5 years I was a senior stylist and lead color educator at ETCH. I am also a certified educator for Alfaparf Milano, the #1 color company in Latin America and Europe. I am a certified Brazilian Blowout specialist as well as The Hair Shop and Babes Extensions offering clip-in, tape, i-tip, and fusion extensions. I have finally realized my dream of opening my first salon offering modern yet classical hair styles for a reasonable price to everyday people. My main focus is to raise my three beautiful daughters showing them you can live your dreams, have a passion for work, and balance family life. One of the best examples of what I hope to pass along is educating up-and-coming stylists to have a successful career, educating my clientele and helping them feel beautiful, and educating underprivileged kids to have a skill such as a hairstylist to be self-sufficient and empowered.
