HI, my name is Renee Koczkodan, and welcome to Renee K hair Design, where I am able to blend artistry, integrity and style in all that I do.  I have been interested in hair cutting, color and styling since I was a small child, when I was known for either cutting my doll’s hair, or cutting or coloring my own hair, in creative ways.  I always said that I wanted to either be a psychologist or an artist, and I feel like hair styling enables me to experience and integrate both of these worlds and interests beautifully.  

I graduated from Joseph P Keefe Technical High School in 1997, where I successfully completed the cosmetology program and became a licensed hair stylist.  Since then, I have had the privilege and opportunity to learn from some of the best in the industry.  I worked for and had the opportunity to be mentored by  the CEO of Gretta Enterprises, style and beauty expert and t.v.personality,Gretta Monahan.  In my time with her, I had the privilege to learn from hair industry greats Orlando Pita and Frank Izquiredo.  I have travelled all over the country to train with Kerastase, Prive, ShuEumura and Bumble and Bumble.

I specialize in creating beautiful shapes and colors that enhance the natural beauty and style of my clients.   I pride myself with delivering a thorough consultation to every client, every time, so that I can provide you with exactly what you are looking for, whether that be a complete change or a subtle tweek.

You can find me at my own studio salon, located at 33 4^th Avenue in Needham, Ma, Suite 17, where I am able to choose products that align with my values, standards and lifestyle.  Being a holistic health coach, as well as a yoga instructor, I am proud to provide an environment and products that are clean, healthy and reliable.  I use and offer the full range of Kevin Murphy hair products as well as Hair Story.   Both product lines are environmentally conscious, as well as naturally sulphate free, paraben free and cruelty free.
