Hey there!! My name is Samantha Locklear (you can call me Sam) I have been in the salon industry for 15 years! I started school at the Aveda Institute of Charlotte in 2006. It was there my passion for hair and beauty really began. After I graduated from the Aveda Institute I accepted a protege position at Modern Salon and spa. There I continued my education through their intense training program. I attended cut and color classes every Monday along with assisting Bao Yang a senior stylist, Tuesday through Saturday! After 4 years with Modern I moved on to work at Dolce Lusso salon and day spa. I furthered my education and experience at Dolce by taking classes under some of the biggest names in Aveda, Jimmy Girgenti, Jon Reyman,Ricardo Dinis,Lupe Voss and Britt Dion. August 2016 I finally decided it was time for me to do something for myself, spread my wings and become a business owner. Sola Verità opened November 2nd 2016. I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. I strive to set a relaxing environment for my clients, but also fun and inviting!
